Kirsten Miccoli is an internationally published fashion, beauty and advertising photographer based in the United States. Kirsten began cultivating her passion for photography at a young age. At 13, she was creating complex staged self portraits using props she collected and wardrobe from her mother's closet. Years of this practice gave Kirsten a very strong foundation and a unique approach to directing talent. Kirsten attended Columbia College Chicago and graduated with her BFA in 2010. In school she focused on fine art and documentary photography- capturing the beauty in the world around her. After graduating, Kirsten switched her focus to conceptual storytelling and creative portraiture. She continues to use her documentary background to capture seemingly candid moments in even the most staged scenarios. At the age of 30, Kirsten now owns a studio in Chicago, IL but often travels shooting for clients all around the world. With over 10 years of professional experience, Kirsten has worked with many well known brands and celebrities. Overall, Kirsten enjoys being part of the creative process from start to finish. She loves working with others and bringing ideas to life. Whether she is meticulously constructing a new image or capturing the existing beauty of her subject, her love for photography and directing shows in every frame
